Hi, I'm Simon.
I do UX-Driven Frontend Engineering.

Actually, I just build websites. Or: user interfaces for the web. But: websites with focus on User Experience for everyone, meaning they are inclusive and accessible, resilient and fast.

There is no clear line between 'designing' a digital product and technically implementing it. There'll always be decisions made by developers that heavily impact user experience, since it's impossible to design every aspect of an application in advance in a design tool.

One field where UX and Frontend Development overlap is the accessiblity of digital products. I'd go as far and say:

There's no difference between UX and accessiblity.

This is where I specialise, fully comprehending both: user needs and technical possibilities. My dual background in Design and Technology allows me to talk eye-to-eye with teammates who have their focus in either fields.

I link what belongs together.

Skyline Big Band
Members of a local Big Band approached me if I could update some small things on their website. It ended up in a complete rebuild, and I am glad about that.
